Located amidst the gorgeous typical Dutch landscape next to a horse dairy maker you find camping the Paardenwei. Here you can come to ease in a Safari tent from which you can explore the province of Zeeland like you have never done before. This campsite embraces so called farming tourism. Vodatent offers safari tents on campsite the Paardenwei enabling you to fully enjoy the farm lifestyle experience. With just a 10 minute drive away from the beach this campsite is perfect for some lovely walks by foot or on horseback.
Atmosphere on camping the Paardenwei
This campsite distinguishes itself by being fit for the true animal lovers. The Paardenwei allows to bring your own dog(s) but also offer the possibility to bring your horse with you which can be housed on the campsite. If you don’t have a horse of your own then do not worry, the campsite has horses of their own which you can coddle. They also offer horseback riding, horse and carriage riding or learn how to drive horses. Besides horses the campsites also has rabbits and guinea pigs who are ready to be cuddled and cared for every day.
The surroundings of the campsite
Would you like to spend a day out and about off the campsite? Discover the surroundings of the Paardenwei and head for a walk on the beach or through one of the nearby nature reserves, which have unique plants and animals. It is also possible to enjoy the beach on horseback, offered by the Hippo D’Or horseback riding school. There is also a lot of culture to be discovered in the nearby area. Within 35 kilometres you will find towns and cities like Bruges (BE) famed for its unique architecture, Knokke (BE) well known for being the most popular seaside resort in Belgium or Terneuzen (NL) speculated to be the birth place of the flying Dutchman. If you would like to visit Gent (BE) then you will have to drive a little further, but is still within an hour drive.
