Looking for a fun campsite in the Eifel in Germany? In the middle of the greenery of nature and between the hills of the Eifel you can find Camp Kyllburg, a cosy family campsite where the river Kyll flows right through.
Because of its location in the Eifel, Camp Kyllburg is the perfect campsite for anyone who loves nature. Sporty campers or people who want to enjoy nature in peace and quiet will feel right at home. The campsite itself is fully equipped of all conveniences.
The children can play football, go mountain biking, table tennis, play in the river, catch fish, build huts and swim in Freibad Kyllburg. The swimming pool is located next to the campsite and guests of the campsite can use it free of charge.
Do you like fly fishing, hiking or cycling in nature? Then Camp Kyllburg is the ideal base! There are several hiking and biking trails and the region of the campsite is known for its good fishing. At the reception, you can get information about the area or ask for access to the swimming pool. You can also rent a bike or canoe or apply for a fishing permit. In high season the children are entertained with various activities. For a cup of coffee, ice cream, fries and snacks you can go to the restaurant. Here you can also join us for dinner, because there are several meals on the menu.
The Eifel invites you to explore by bike, mountain bike or sturdy hiking boots. At the reception of the campsite you can get a lot of information about the best cycling and hiking routes. Would you like to enjoy the landscape from the water in a sporty way? Rent a canoe and combine adventure and nature. The Eifelpark is the perfect combination between zoo and amusement park. Combine wild attractions with watching bears and wolves: it's all possible! In Dinosaur Park Teufelsschlucht you will travel back in time, when dinosaurs were still alive.
From Camp Kyllburg you can walk straight to the town of Kyllburg, where you can do some shopping or have a nice meal or drink in one of the restaurants. Germany's oldest city, Trier, is a 45-minute drive from the campsite. Lovers of history can indulge themselves here with sights from Roman times, but there are also plenty of shopping opportunities. Other historic villages and towns near the campsite are also worth a visit. Also, nice to know: just over an hour's drive away you can cross the border to Belgium, France or Luxembourg and for example go shopping in Luxembourg city.
Sometimes it is useful to know in advance if the restaurant is open during your stay, or for example the swimming pool and when the animation team is available. We have listed the most important additional information below.
